Ali Metin Ucar

Ali Ucar is based in Burlington, Ontario, and brings more than a decade of financial services experience to his work with clients.

Ali holds an MBA from Brock University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McMaster University.

Before moving into insurance, Ali spent several years as a Financial Advisor with TD Canada Trust in Hamilton. There he earned his Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation and served as Branch Compliance Officer. He was inducted into TD's Champions Club in 2011 for ranking in the top 1% of advisors nationally. In 2013 he was named TD's #1 mutual fund sales representative in Canada. He later owned and operated Agora Marketplace, a fine art gallery in Burlington.

Having completed the RIBO Level 1 licensing exam, Ali brings his background in client advisory, compliance, and valuation to helping clients understand their coverage and protect what matters most to them.

Ali's hobbies include collecting fine art, studying vintage mechanical watches, reading about automotive history, and playing golf. He's also a devoted follower of European soccer.

In addition to English, Ali is fluent in Turkish.

Ali's dream travel destination is the Amalfi Coast and Florence, Italy, for the combination of centuries-old art, coastline, and food.

A fun fact about Ali: as a gallery owner, he appraised and authenticated everything from hand-blown Murano glass and bronze sculptures to oil paintings and custom jewellery.
