Underwriter - Welland
We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team at Head Office in Welland, Ontario. BIG provides a change from the traditional insurance brokerage experience. The core of our business is attracting top insurance professionals and providing them with innovative technology and tools required to compete in the rapidly changing insurance landscape. - Review documents for accuracy and completion
- Ensure policies adhere to underwriting guidelines
- Enter data into insurance company portals and websites
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
- Willingness to learn about the insurance industry
- A minimum of one year of office administration and/or customer service experience
- Previous experience in insurance is an asset
- RIBO license is an asset
- High school or equivalent
